Rising Tide

I drifted and drifted On my boat all night The water covers half of my feet So I reached to the one who loves me She knows just what to do  She’s the one who pushed me through all the raging seas The moon high above me Said,boy keep going west No song to sing  No spell or blessing here For your wild heart It will be broken When the morning come You better start and make your run For the rising tide Your boat is broken and the wind make no sound You’re sinking slowly to the ground She picked you saved you gave you home and solid ground  The sea was angry and you never turned around Without her your boat is going down
