Poetry Skit They Dragged me down into their cave but now I’m out alive No therapy is needed, tell ‘em- now just be advised That I was born when both my eyes are opened wide and clear And then I found it and I felt it, and it disappeared They gentrify and certify all of their lies yeah They fantasize and oversize all of their prides yeah And everything they do and say today is so inclined Towards selling me their actions that they still deny And how come the thing we can describe the best is pain? You think you’re very scary, You think I’m ordinary, You take a vision from a visionary, put it in a cemetery, make it all so temporary I will not follow you to darkness, I will pave my way. Trying to deny how much I cry at night, trying to convince myself that I’ll survive I wanna see you burning slow yeah I wanted you to know I know.
