שירן לוי

שירן לוי היא אמנית מתל אביב-יפו שעוסקת במוזיקה במשך עשר שנים. בעבודתו, שירן מעבד סיפורים מהירושת המשפחה היהודית-תימנית, בעיקר מסיפורי הסבתא שעלתה מתימן בשנת 1949. האלבום הראשון של שירן יצא בשנת 2018, ואחריו האלבום "גלסה סנעאנית" בשנת 2020, המציג עיבודים של שירים תימניים מסורתיים בערבית ובעברית לקהל עכשווי. שירן עובד בשיתוף פעולה עם המפיק רון בקל בהוצאת תקליטים דרך חברת Batov Records. הביצועים של שירן כללו הופעות בפסטיבל טרופיקלי עם שירים כמו "בהלוואן", "טובה" ו"יא בנאת", וכן בפסטיבל ישראל מיוזיק שוקייס עם שירים "זנובה" ו"ערגז ערבי". שירן הופיע גם בפסטיבלים נוספים כמו InDnegev ובפסטיבל International Music Showcase, וביצע הופעות בישראל ובאירופה.

Shiran Levi is an artist from Tel Aviv-Yafo who has been active in music for ten years. In his work, Shiran draws from family stories rooted in Yemenite-Jewish heritage, particularly narratives from his grandmother who immigrated from Yemen in 1949. Shiran's debut album was released in 2018, followed by the album "Glsah Sanaanea" in 2020, which presents contemporary reinterpretations of traditional Yemenite songs in Arabic and Hebrew. Shiran works in collaboration with producer Ron Bakal through Batov Records. His performances have included appearances at the Tropikali Festival with songs such as "Bahlawan," "Touba," and "Ya Banat," as well as at the Israel Music Showcase Festival with songs "Zanouba" and "Arabic Lullaby." Shiran has also performed at festivals including InDnegev and the International Music Showcase, with performances across Israel and Europe.
