Amir Shohar is an Israeli singer, 38 years old, born in the city of Hadera, where he grew up in the Neve Hayim neighborhood in a traditional home. Four years ago, he decided to leave his senior position at a high-tech company after feeling that the last train of his music career was leaving the station, and chose to pursue his musical dream. Over the past decade, Amir has performed on stages throughout the country and abroad—in clubs, at private events, and before municipal employee committees. Amir's first song, "Kmah Ahavnu" ("How We Loved"), was written for him by singer and composer Ushir Cohen and continues to be popular in the clubs and events where he performs. Among his notable performances are an appearance on the program "Happy Friday" on Channel 24 with Yaron Ilan, and a 50-minute performance on the central stage at Independence Day celebrations in Hadera. Recently, Amir released his seventh single titled "Chayil Shel Ima" ("A Mother's Soldier"), written during the Iron Swords War. This special song has received airplay on various radio stations and media outlets. Amir performs with a professional band of musicians who accompany him at every performance in the country and abroad, including events in New York and Morocco.
