אלון אולארצי'ק

אלון אולארצ'יק הוא זמר, מкомпозיטור, טקסטאי, מפיק מוזיקה, בסיסט ושחקן ישראלי ממוצא פולני. נולד ב-15 ביוני 1950 בוורשה, פולין, והיגר לישראל בגיל שבע. אולארצ'יק התחיל את קריירתו המוזיקלית בשנת 1968 כחבר בתזמורת הנחל של צה"ל, שם פגש את חבריו העתידיים בלהקת קוורט. הלהקה הוקמה בשנת 1973 וייצגה את ישראל בתחרות יורוויזיון 1974 בשיר "I Gave Her My Life". לאחר עזיבתו את קוורט בשנת 1976, עבר אולארצ'יק ללימודי ג'אז בבוסטון וניו יורק, שם שיחק בסגנונות מוזיקליים שונים כולל ג'אז וג'אז-רוק. אלבומו הסולו הראשון "Oleartchik" יצא לאור בשנת 1985 והיה הצלחה מסחרית. בין יצירותיו המוכרות נמנים "בתוך עינייך", "A New Guy Comes to the Neighborhood" ו"She Walks the Roads". בשנת 2017 קיבל את פרס ACUM לתרומה חוקית בשם פרס אהוד מנור.

Alon Oleartchik is an Israeli singer, composer, lyricist, music producer, bassist, and actor of Polish origin. Born on June 15, 1950, in Warsaw, Poland, he immigrated to Israel at age seven. Oleartchik began his music career in 1968 as a member of the IDF's Nahal band, where he met his future bandmates in Kaveret. The band was formed in 1973 and represented Israel at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Gave Her My Life." After leaving Kaveret in 1976, Oleartchik pursued jazz studies in Boston and New York, where he performed in various musical styles including jazz and jazz-rock. His debut solo album "Oleartchik" was released in 1985 and achieved commercial success. Among his notable compositions are "בתוך עינייך" (In Your Eyes), "A New Guy Comes to the Neighborhood," and "She Walks the Roads." In 2017, he received the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Award, known as the Ehud Manor Prize.
