# חיים אוליאל חיים אוליאל הוא זמר-יוצר, מלחין ופזמונאי ישראלי המתמחה במוזיקה מזרחית. הוא ידוע כסולן וכותב השירים של להקת שפתיים, וכן בעבודתו כאמן סולו. אוליאל הוא גם מעורר תרבות מרוקאית בישראל ויוזם של מיזמים תרבותיים בעירו. ## ביוגרפיה חיים אוליאל נולד ב-22 בדצמבר 1956 בשדרות. הוא גדל בעיר זו להורים שעלו ממרוקו. את קריירתו המוזיקלית החל בגיל צעיר, כאשר בגיל 13 התחיל לנגן על גיטרה חשמלית. בגיל 15 הקים את להקת ליל השמשות. לאחר שחרורו מהצבא, הקים אוליאל את להקת הרוק המאה העשרים ואחת עם אחיו אלי אוליאל (בתופים) וחיים אוחנה (בבס). הרכב זה היווה את הבסיס ללהקת שפתיים, שהוקמה מאוחר יותר. ## קריירה בלהקת שפתיים כיהן אוליאל כסולן וכשותף לכתיבת שירי הלהקה. במקביל לפעילותו בלהקה, סייע רבות לזמר קובי אוז בתחילת דרכו. בשנת 2000 הוציא אוליאל את אלבום הסולו הבכורה שלו בשם "סנדוק לעג'ב" (קופסת הקסמים), כשקובי אוז נטל חלק בניהול האמנותי של האלבום. בשנת 2002 הוציא את הסינגל "תני לו ללכת", שנכלל באלבום הסולו השני שלו. בשנת 2006 הוציא את האלבום "לפי שעה". בשנת 2003 הקליט את שירו של נתן אלתרמן "עוד אבוא" עבור שיר הנושא לסרט הקולנוע "הכוכבים של שלומי". השיר הולחן והופק על ידי יונתן בר גיורא. אוליאל ובר גיורא המשיכו ושיתפו פעולה בביצוע של שיר נוסף של אלתרמן, "ריצתו של העולה דנינו". אוליאל הציע לאקדמיה ללשון העברית את המילה "צהלולים" והקים מועדון זמר ותרבות מרוקאית תחת שם זה בשדרות. בנובמבר 2020 השתתף אוליאל בערב הפתיחה של פסטיבל "אשדודשירה", בו ביצע לראשונה על במה את "עוד אבוא" ו"ריצתו של העולה דנינו". ## הישגים בשנת 2002 זכה אוליאל בפרס הצילינדר הנודד לשנת תשס"ד על הסינגל "תני לו ללכת". בשנת 2024 נבחר להשיא משואה יחד עם עברי לידר ורביב כנר בטקס הדלקת המשואות בהר הרצל. ## חיים אישיים לאוליאל ארבעה בנים ובת. באוגוסט 2019 אותר בנו ניב לצד אשה נוספת בביתו בנווה ימין כשהם ללא רוח חיים.

# Chaim Uliel Chaim Uliel is an Israeli singer-songwriter, composer, and lyricist specializing in Middle Eastern music. He is known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Sefatayim, as well as for his work as a solo artist. Uliel is also a promoter of Moroccan culture in Israel and an initiator of cultural projects in his city. ## Biography Chaim Uliel was born on December 22, 1956 in Sderot. He grew up in this city with parents who immigrated from Morocco. He began his musical career at a young age, starting to play electric guitar at age 13. At age 15, he founded the band Leil HaShmashot (Night of Sunsets). Following his discharge from the military, Uliel founded the rock band Twenty-First Century with his brother Eli Uliel (drums) and Chaim Ochana (bass). This lineup formed the foundation for the band Sefatayim, which was established later. ## Career In Sefatayim, Uliel served as lead vocalist and co-writer of the band's songs. Concurrently with his band activities, he provided substantial assistance to singer Kobi Oz at the beginning of his career. In 2000, Uliel released his debut solo album titled "Sandook La'ajeb" (Box of Wonders), with Kobi Oz contributing to the album's artistic direction. In 2002, he released the single "Teni Lo Lalekhet" (Let Him Go), which was included in his second solo album. In 2006, he released the album "Lefi Sha'ah" (For Now). In 2003, he recorded Nathan Alterman's song "Od Avo" (I Will Come Again) for the title track of the film "The Stars of Shlomi." The song was composed and produced by Yonatan Bar Giora. Uliel and Bar Giora continued to collaborate on the performance of another Alterman song, "Ritztuto Shel Ha'Ole Danino" (The Run of the Immigrant Danino). Uliel proposed the word "Tzahlulim" to the Academy of the Hebrew Language and established a singing club and Moroccan cultural center under this name in Sderot. In November 2020, Uliel participated in the opening evening of the "Ashdod Shira" festival, where he performed "Od Avo" and "Ritztuto Shel Ha'Ole Danino" on stage for the first time. ## Achievements In 2002, Uliel won the Wandering Cylinder Prize for the year 5762 for the single "Teni Lo Lalekhet." In 2024, he was selected to light a torch alongside Avri Lider and Raviv Kanner at the torch-lighting ceremony on Mount Herzl. ## Personal Life Uliel has four sons and one daughter. In August 2019, his son Niv was found along with another woman in his home in Neve Yamim, both lifeless.
