# אלון אולארצ'יק אלון אולארצ'יק הוא זמר, מלחין, פזמונאי ומפיק מוזיקלי ישראלי יליד פולין. פעיל בעיקר בסגנונות הרוק והג'אז, הוא נחשב לאחד היוצרים המעניינים והמקוריים ביותר במוזיקה הישראלית. זכה בפרס אקו"ם למפעל חיים ע"ש אהוד מנור בשנת 2017. ## ביוגרפיה אלון אולארצ'יק נולד בשם אלכסי אולארצ'יק ב-15 ביוני 1950 בוורשה, פולין. אביו היה המוזיקאי היהודי אדוארד אולארצ'יק. בשנת 1957 עלה לישראל וגר בנתניה ובהמשך בבת ים. בילדותו למד לנגן בפסנתר, ובזמן לימודיו בפנימייה צבאית בחיפה למד גם לנגן בגיטרה. בשנת 1968 התגייס ללהקת הנח"ל, שם הכיר את דני סנדרסון, מאיר פניגשטיין, אפרים שמיר וגידי גוב, שהפכו לחבריו ללהקת כוורת. ## קריירה ### שנות השישים והשבעים בשנת 1969 כתב אולארצ'יק את שיריו הראשונים, ביניהם "בלי לבקש רשות" ללחן של אפרים שמיר. יחד עם שמיר הקימו צמד בשם "נו אז מה?" והוציאו תקליטון עם השירים "סופה" ו"דם לא טוב". בשנת 1971 שיתף פעולה עם דני סנדרסון בלהקת "השניצלים" וכתבו יצירה בשם "הילד מברזיל". לאחר שחרורו מהצבא ניגן בלהקת הג'אז של אהרל'ה קמינסקי, "הפלטינה", ולאחר מכן עזב ללונדון. בשנת 1973 הוקמה להקת כוורת, שבה אולארצ'יק היה אחד הכותבים הראשיים. השתתף בכתיבת שירים כמו "המגפיים של ברוך", "נתתי לה חיי", "ככה היא באמצע", "גוליית" ו"טנגו צפרדעים". בתקופה זו השתתף גם בהקלטות אלבומים של אריק איינשטיין ויוני רכטר. בשנת 1976 התפרקה להקת כוורת. בשנת 1978 עזב את ישראל לארצות הברית וחל ללמוד ג'אז במכללת ברקלי בבוסטון. לאחר שלוש שנים עבר לניו יורק, שם יצר וניגן במגוון סגנונות וניהל את מועדון "הפיקוק". ### שנות השמונים בשנת 1984 חזר לישראל והופיע במופע איחוד של כוורת. בשנת 1985 יצא אלבומו הסולו הראשון, המכיל שירים שהפכו ללהיטים כמו "מאיר ואלון", "היא הולכת בדרכים", "בא לשכונה בחור חדש" ו"גלים גלים". בשנת 1986 הצטרף להרכב "קולות שלובים" עם אריאל זילבר, יהודית רביץ, שלמה גרוניך ואחרים. בשנת 1987 הוציא את אלבומו השני "שעשועי כאילו", שבו כתב את מרבית השירים וניגן בכל הכלים. בשנת 1988 החל להפיק מוזיקאים אחרים, ובהם שרי צוריאל ועפרה חזה. בשנת 1989 הקים עם יזהר אשדות וגני תמיר הרכב "אזרחי העולם" והופיע לראשונה כשחקן בסרט "רסיסים". ### שנות התשעים לאורך שנות התשעים המשיך להקליט מוזיקה לאירועים שונים, הצגות ומיצגים. בשנת 1990 הפיק אלבומים לאתי אנקרי וגידי גוב. בשנת 1991 זכה בפרס אקו"ם. בשנת 1992 הפיק את אלבום הבכורה של טיפקס "שביל קליפות הגרעינים". בשנת 1993 יצא אלבומו השלישי "תגיד לי מה אתה מרגיש", בהפקת יזהר אשדות. השירים המצליחים ביותר היו "החיים קשים", "כל דבר קט" ו"בן בסט". בשנת 1994 כתב יצירה קלאסית לפסטיבל ישראל. בשנת 1995 השתתף בהופעות איחוד של להקת "הפלטינה". בשנת 1996 יצא אלבומו הרביעי "בואי נגיד שאני שלך", שהכיל את אחד מלהיטי הסולו הגדולים ביותר שלו. בשנת 1997 הוציא את "מחפש אותך", שיר הנושא של סדרת הטלוויזיה "צה"ל 1". בשנת 1998 הוציא את אלבומו החמישי "בשקט", בו הקליט גרסאות שקטות ללהיטיו הקודמים בגיטרה ופסנתר עם הגיטריסט ברק חנוך. באותה שנה השתתף במופע איחוד של כוורת. בשנת 1999 הוציא את האלבום "אולארצ'יק ג'אז", שהוקלט בהופעה חיה במועדון "הקמלוט" בתל אביב. האלבום הציג גרסאות עבריות של שירי ג'אז ידועים. ### שנות 2000-2010 בשנת 2000 חידש עם דנה אינטרנשיונל את "מוכר הפרחים" של סדנת תיאטרון שכונת התקווה. בשנת 2002 הוציא את האלבום "פעם בגליל - מבט מוזיקלי" ואלבום אוסף עם כל להיטיו. באותה שנה הופיע בסדרת הדרמה "הבורגנים". בשנת 2003 השתתף בסרט "מיס אנטבה", לו גם הלחין את מוזיקת הרקע. בשנת 2004 הוציא את השיר "בואי נתחבק" ובשנת 2005 הפיק את אלבומו של גידי גוב "בקצה ההר". באוקטובר 2007 הוציא את האלבום הכפול "רוק רוך", המכיל תקליטור עם שירים שקטים ואקוסטיים ותקליטור שני עם שירים בסגנון כבד יותר. מהאלבום יצאו סינגלים כמו "הוא מאוהב", "מאוהב מדי", "ארץ מלח" ו"מתגעגע לזמר שלך". בשנת 2009 שיחק בסדרת הדרמה "מגדלים באוויר" בערוץ 10. ### שנות 2010 ואילך באפריל 2011 יצא אלבומו "אולארצ'יק סטייל", המכיל גרסאות מחודשות לשיריו המוכרים בעיבודי ג'אז. בשנת 2011 הלחין את פסקול הסרט "סלסה תל אביב". בשנת 2012 הופיע בהרכב מוזיקלי חדש הנקרא הרביעייה עם אפרים שמיר, שלמה יידוב ושם טוב לוי. בשנת 2013 השתתף בסיבוב הופעות האיחוד הרביעי של להקת כוורת. במרץ 2014 הוציא את האלבום "יום אחד" במשותף עם אלעד אדר. במרץ 2015 הוציאו אלון אולארצ'יק ואלי דג'יברי את "תה בשניים", אלבום של סטנדרטי ג'אז בתרגום ושירה של אולארצ'יק. בינואר 2016 הוציא עם הצמד קפה שחור חזק את השיר "בתוך עינייך", חידוש לשיר "עינייך" שהקליט 30 שנה קודם לכן. ## הישגים בשנת 1991 זכה אולארצ'יק בפרס אקו"ם. בשנת 1996 זכתה אשתו דיאנה בציון לשבח בתחרות הקליפים השנתית בפסטיבל הסרטים הבינלאומי בחיפה על קליפ השיר "בואי נגיד שאני שלך". בשנת 2004 השתתף בפסטיבל השירים של ישראל בשיר "יהיה שלום", שביצע כדואט עם רון שובל, והגיע למקום השלישי. בשנת 2017 זכה בפרס אקו"ם למפעל חיים ע"ש אהוד מנור. לפי מנימוקי השופטים, אולארצ'יק הוא מלחין, מפיק מוזיקלי ובסיסט לירי המנגן גם בפסנתר ובגיטרה, המצליח לשלב בין ז'אנרים. נוכחותו במוזיקה הישראלית נפרשת על פני 50 שנה ותרומתו להתפתחות הזמר העברי מכרעת. ## חיים אישיים אולארצ'יק נשוי לדיאנה, שביימה קליפים לשיריו. לו בן בשם מקס אולארצ'יק ובת בשם טסה, שאתה שר בדואט בשיר "אין זמן" מאלבום "אולארצ'יק סטייל".

# Alon Olarczyk Alon Olarczyk is an Israeli singer, composer, lyricist, and music producer born in Poland. Active primarily in rock and jazz genres, he is considered one of the most interesting and original creators in Israeli music. He won the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Award in the name of Ehud Manor in 2017. ## Biography Alon Olarczyk was born as Aleksei Olarczyk on June 15, 1950 in Warsaw, Poland. His father was Jewish musician Edward Olarczyk. In 1957 he immigrated to Israel and lived in Netanya and later in Bat Yam. In his childhood he learned to play piano, and during his studies at a military boarding school in Haifa he also learned to play guitar. In 1968 he was drafted to the IDF Nahal band, where he met Danny Sanderson, Meir Fenigstein, Ephraim Shamir, and Gidi Gov, who became his bandmates in the Kaveret band. ## Career ### The Sixties and Seventies In 1969 Olarczyk wrote his first songs, including "Without Asking Permission" with music by Ephraim Shamir. Together with Shamir he formed a duo called "Nu Az Ma?" and released a single with the songs "Storm" and "Bad Blood." In 1971 he collaborated with Danny Sanderson in the band "The Schnitzel" and wrote a composition called "The Boy from Brazil." After his discharge from the army he played in Aharla Kaminsky's jazz band, "The Platina," and later moved to London. In 1973 the Kaveret band was formed, in which Olarczyk was one of the main songwriters. He participated in writing songs such as "Baruch's Boots," "I Gave Her Life," "That's How It Is in the Middle," "Goliath," and "Frog Tango." During this period he also participated in album recordings by Erek Einstein and Yoni Richter. In 1976 the Kaveret band disbanded. In 1978 he left Israel for the United States and began studying jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After three years he moved to New York, where he created and performed in various genres and managed the "Peacock" club. ### The Eighties In 1984 he returned to Israel and performed at a Kaveret reunion concert. In 1985 his first solo album was released, containing songs that became hits such as "Meir and Alon," "She Walks the Streets," "A New Boy Came to the Neighborhood," and "Waves Waves." In 1986 he joined the ensemble "Intertwined Voices" with Ariel Zilber, Yehudit Ravitz, Shlomo Gronich, and others. In 1987 he released his second album "As If Entertainment," in which he wrote most of the songs and played all the instruments. In 1988 he began producing other musicians, including Shari Tzuriel and Ofra Haza. In 1990 he produced albums for Eti Ankri and Gidi Gov. In 1991 he won the ACUM Award. In 1992 he produced the debut album of Tipex "The Path of Kernel Peels." In 1993 his third album "Tell Me What You Feel" was released, produced by Yizhar Ashdot. The most successful songs were "Life Is Hard," "Every Little Thing," and "Ben Best." In 1994 he wrote a classical composition for the Israel Festival. In 1995 he participated in reunion performances of the "Platina" band. In 1996 his fourth album "Come Say I'm Yours" was released, which contained one of his greatest solo hits. In 1997 he released "Looking for You," the theme song for the television series "IDF 1." In 1998 he released his fifth album "Quietly," in which he recorded quiet versions of his previous hits on guitar and piano with guitarist Barak Hanoch. In 2011 he composed the soundtrack for the film "Salsa Tel Aviv." In 2012 he appeared in a new musical ensemble called the Quartet with Ephraim Shamir, Shlomo Yidov, and Shem Tov Levi. In 2013 he participated in the fourth reunion tour of the Kaveret band. In March 2014 he released the album "One Day" jointly with Elad Eder. In March 2015 Alon Olarczyk and Eli Djiberry released "Tea for Two," an album of jazz standards translated and sung by Olarczyk. In January 2016 he released with the duo Strong Black Coffee the song "In Your Eyes," a renewal of the song "Your Eyes" which he recorded 30 years earlier. ## Achievements In 1991 Olarczyk won the ACUM Award. In 1996 his wife Diana won a commendation in the annual music video competition at the Haifa International Film Festival for the music video "Come Say I'm Yours." In 2004 he participated in the Israel Song Festival with the song "There Will Be Peace," which he performed as a duet with Ron Shoval, and placed third. In 2017 he won the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Award in the name of Ehud Manor. According to the judges' reasoning, Olarczyk is a composer, music producer, and lyrical bassist who also plays piano and guitar, successfully blending genres. His presence in Israeli music spans 50 years and his contribution to the development of Hebrew song is decisive. ## Personal Life Olarczyk is married to Diana, who directed music videos for his songs. He has a son named Max Olarczyk and a daughter named Tessa, who sings with him in a duet on the song "No Time" from the album "Olarczyk Style."
