משה לוי הוא פסנתרן, קלידיסט, אקורדיוניסט, מעבד ומפיק מוזיקה ישראלי. נולד בירושלים וגדל בחולון, משה לוי פעיל בעולם המוזיקה הישראלית מאז סוף שנות השבעים. במהלך שירותו הצבאי בתזמורת חיל האוויר, שיחק בעלון, ובגיל 21 עזב לארצות הברית כדי ללמוד מוזיקה בקולג' ברקלי בבוסטון.
בשנת 1978 זכה לפריצה משמעותית כאשר השתתף בהקלטות בألבום של שלמה ארצי "איש מתאבד". בשנת 1984 הצטרף ללהקת "סרט" כקלידיסט, ובאותה תקופה הפיק יחד עם יזהר אשדות את אלבומו של בועז שרבי "הכל בסדר איתי". בתחילת שנות התשעים גילה את אביב גפן והפיק את אלבומו הראשון "זה רק אור ירח" בשנת 1992. משה לוי ידוע בעיקר בשל שיתוף הפעולה שלו עם זמר שלום חנוך, שעבורו הפיק את כל אלבומיו מאז 1983.
במהלך 49 שנות קריירה, לוי השתתף בהפקה של עשרות אלבומים והיה חלק בלתי נפרד מהנוף המוזיקלי הישראלי. בין יצירותיו המוכרות ביותר נמצאות "שער אשר נסגר", "לב יהודי", "כל בוקר מחדש", "מודים" ו"אבא טוב - שיר הגשם".
About Moshe Levi
Moshe Levi is an Israeli pianist, keyboardist, accordionist, arranger, and music producer. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Holon, Moshe Levi has been active in the Israeli music scene since the late 1970s. During his military service in the Israel Air Force Orchestra, he played organ, and at age 21 he moved to the United States to study music at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
In 1978, Levi achieved a significant breakthrough when he participated in recordings for Shlomo Artzi's album "A Man Gets Lost." In 1984, he joined the band "Seret" as keyboardist, and during this period he produced, together with Yizhar Ashdot, the album of Boaz Sharabi titled "Everything's Alright with Me." In the early 1990s, he discovered Aviv Gefen and produced his debut album "It's Only Moonlight" in 1992. Moshe Levi is particularly known for his collaboration with singer Shalom Hanoch, for whom he has produced all of his albums since 1983.
Over a 49-year career, Levi has participated in the production of dozens of albums and has been an integral part of the Israeli musical landscape. Among his most recognized works are "Sha'ar Asher Nisgal," "Lev Yehudi," "Kol Boker Mechadash," "Modim," and "Aba Tov - Shir HaGeshem."
