About Mir Brvk

Meir Bruk is a singer, composer, and songwriter from Israel, currently residing in Elad. Through his service as the Rebbe's emissary in Baku, Azerbaijan, for more than a decade, Bruk was exposed to the lives of a Jewish minority, the power of storytelling, and music's ability to connect people and cultures. This experience shaped his vision of "smiling Judaism"—a philosophy that brings people together, embraces them, and transcends disputes through love of Israel. Bruk has been singing and composing since age 17, serving the Rebbe's mission of spreading Judaism and bringing Jews closer to their heritage worldwide. Bruk is married with eight children. His musical work includes compositions such as "Agadat HaTzemiach Tzedek" (Legend of the Righteous Plant), a musical work based on a Hassidic tale featuring the Tzemiach Tzedek as an embodiment of deep love for Israel. His songs "Bangkok" and "Beit Chabad in Bangkok" have garnered media attention, including an interview on Israel's Channel 11 news program "Hadashot HaLayla." Through his music, Bruk works to promote unity among diverse groups, including Ashkenazim and Sephardim.
