About Divvid Krml David Carmel
David Carmel is a creator, singer, and composer who performs in both Hebrew and English. Beginning at age 4.5, he was identified as musically gifted and received training in multiple instruments including violin, drums, trumpet, piano, and guitar, which became his primary instrument. As a child with learning disabilities and social difficulties, he experienced bullying, violence, and ostracism in elementary school, but found refuge in music, which helped him survive and gave him hope for a better future.
In 2022, he launched his official music career and gained significant recognition in the field. He was nominated for "Singer of the Year" at Ze Rock Radio's annual rock competitions and finished as a finalist. One of his songs reached half a million views, and he was positioned as a potential next major name in Israel. Among his leading tracks are "Broken Hearted," "Changes," "The Retarded I Am," "בשבילך" (For You), and "ואולי" (Maybe). David performed at a prestigious youth music festival and was invited back for a return performance as part of an evening featuring talented young performers. Additionally, he serves in military reserves in the north and continues releasing new music projects despite the challenges of the conflict. Currently, he has 19,000 followers on Instagram and continues to develop as an independent artist.
