He specializes in the hip-hop genre and has created collaborations with leading artists in the Israeli music scene. ## Biography Lagesa was born and raised in Nazareth Illit, the son of parents who immigrated from Ethiopia in 1991. Since childhood, he has been interested in writing and drawing. During his youth, after his family moved to Afula, he began experimenting with writing hip-hop lyrics. During this period, he initiated the opening of a rap workshop at a youth music center in his city. ## Career Following his service in the Israeli Air Force, Lagesa began working with musicians David Ma'ayan and Yiftach Naor. In 2018, he released his debut album titled "What Is This Anyway?" Lagesa collaborated with various artists, including the band Shazamat on the song "Aquarium," Tedi Neguse on the songs "Nothing Will Stop Me," "Too Nice to Them," and "To Move to Rest," Ravid Plotnik on the song "Thank You Very Much," Echo on the song "Night and Day," and Jimbo G on the song "Where I Live." He also participated in Tamir Bar's short film titled "The Rise and Fall of Shem Tov the Father." In 2022, he began studying Japanese formally, following his childhood connection to Japanese anime series, particularly the series "InuYasha." In 2024, he released a second album titled "Kono," which contains one song in Japanese. ## Achievements In 2023, he was scheduled to perform at the Indiependence Festival; however, the festival was cancelled due to the Iron Swords War.
